A guy in my neighborhood had one when I was in grade school. He loved that car more than his own kids. And it was a piece of crap.

Pretty funny. The subject car should have been turned into a small metal cube long ago.

Sounds like a few of my old work trucks. They'll get you where ya need to be, but you won't want to make the return trip.

That's awesome.

I sent that to my two boys, who I am sure will enjoy it.

I also sent it to a friend that participates in the "24 Hour of Lemons" (so that gives you an idea of the type of cars he races).

He said it reminded him of when his MGB got stolen. He was able to chase them down on foot, because they neglected to pull out the manual choke and the car would only manage about 5mph top speed when cold.

He said it actually worked out pretty well. He was at a concert and it was like a "valet" service: the car was already ahead of the block of traffic and since it was running he could just hop in and go.

I can relate a similar experience from 15 years ago borrowing a friend's truck. If you see me in person sometime, ask about it. Its too much to type, and I'd regret it being forever committed to internet history. It involves a friend named Steve from Cleveland, a bizarre dyno experience in new york, and a dog I unironically called Cujo. Its a 48 hour peek into the depths of Hell.

The Hagerty magazine is the best car magazine out there right now as far as I can tell. Many of the old and respected automotive writers are either on the staff or contribute there.

I love the Hagerty magazine. I look forward to it coming, just like I did with all of the old car magazines that I used to get. They really have some great stories and contributors. I love Jay Leno and Wayne Carini.
