Oil psi gauge feed
im sure this has been discussed here before whats best oil filter housing or plug by distributor ?

You can definitely find some threads on this......but rumor has it the plug near the distributor is a more accurate place to get oil PSI.

I have 2 gauges (because I was paranoid), using both outlets you describe. Its interesting to note that the filter housing gauge reads slower than the one at the top of the block. This has been discussed on here before and it's because the gauge fitting is on the return line from the filter and I have a remote filter. The filter housing gauge reads slightly higher PSI when the oils hot.

Assuming you're still also running an idiot light, using the plug by the distributor makes for a neater installation. It avoids having to add a tee fitting at the oil filter housing, which kind of looks messy in my opinion.
