Default 2nd gen T/A wheel & tires

anybody running 17 or 18's on their T/A's with now issues? what size tires are you using

I have 17X8's on my 71. 275 40 17 rubber. No issues whatsoever. It has been lowered a couple inches as well

I have 17x 8.5 on mine and have run 17 x 9 without clearance problems.

Wow. How close to the tubs are you in the rear? I'm wanting to go 18X9 in the back of my '78 and I kind of want to have just a hair extra hanging out close to the edge of the spoiler.

I have alnety of room to go bigger in the back, but it doen't have the seat belt humps that the later cars have. I don't think you would have any problems going 9" though
