Default Roll cage question?

At what point are the swing out door bars illegal? Also would it be legal to make the cross bar that runs behind the seats (part of the main hoop) removable? The reason that I want to make that removable is because with it there it makes my back seat pretty much useless.

The basic "rulebook" roll cage permits the swing out side bar, and is good to 8.50. The crossbar must be the same diameter as the main hoop and welded in place. It is an integral part of the structure and can't be removable.

Unless the rules have changed the cross bar only has to be 1-1/4 diameter.
