Ames Performance Core Support
Ok, it’s 2024 and Ames lists this core support in the catalog and website but no indication if it needs modification. Usually they have notes for items. Further no side view photo to illustrate if it has the 9-10 degree angle like OEM. Has anyone used one recently and can advise if this fits a 69?

Guessing it's the same messed up part being sold for 20 years. If it was a "new improved" part it probably wouldn't be getting discounted.
Shame, what a pain to fix the way they are. I know if I had it to do all over again I would have used the re-pop part as a donor for patches to repair the original.

This is my current situation- the driver’s side is significantly worse. I may attempt to fix it with my extremely limited welding skills.

Yours looks pretty close to the way mine did.
