where can I purchase a new crush sleeve for a 8.2 ring and pinion or can I reuse the old one?

Darren, ck you local GM dealer for crush sleeve for a 7.5" or 7.625" ('78+) 10 bolt rearend. GM parts nomeclature will call them a spacer. These are what are being put in the Federal Mogul bearing kits & they work perfect.

Reusing crushsleeves...if you had 30 used crush sleeves out of 30 different rearends might have one that was thick enough to crush a little more, when pinion nut is tightened to set drag. I used to mike these & keep only the thickest. Anymore chunk all the used ones, as very few were ever thick enough.

I just bought some at NAPA for a chevy 12 bolt, check there, they had many applications.
