Holley carb ?
Just wondering if a Holley 3310-3 will fit and run on a cast intake and if so would I need a spread bore to square bore plate ? The only other # I can find on the dr.side is P-80 . I have not used a Holley on anything before .

The 3310-3 is a square bore 750cfm carb. So, you'll need an adapter to run it on an iron Q-jet intake. I assume you could run a '66 iron AFB intake. But, I'm not sure of that. Never ran one. I'm sure some of these guys will know.

The summit adapter is the only one that seals off the sides of the intake, allowing intake to remain a true dual plane. Another gasket may be needed...
Using one of the other 2 opens up the plenum. This can do one of two things. The opening can provide some top end power by being open. OR it can kill some low end power and cause the need for carb adjustments, because you essentially have an open plenum doing this... If your iron intake has been opened up on the top (carb mount area), taking out the front to back dividers on both sides (Not the side to side dividers). You may be able to whittle away some of the Summit adapter (again, only front to back) to give the Holley a better flow path through the intake. Cliff performed some welding and other modifications to his stock iron intake, allowing him to run a Holley, or Q-Jet on his engine...

Here is a pic of my iron intake modified under the carb and material added to have both bolt patterns. I also modified the P4B intake in the same manner, but it already had enough material to drill/tap for the square flange bolt pattern.......Cliff

You will need an adapter plate to run a square bore carb on a factory spread bore intake. Theoretically it will cause some flow decrease but years ago an at the track swap I took off a Brad Urban tweaked 800 cfm Qjet on my 455 roller motor' that had an HO intake and put on and adapter and a Demon 850 DP and the car picked up 0.2 seconds and idled better so go figure.
Also the Street Demon 850 uses 30 cc accelerator pumps front and rear.

I run an adapter plate on my 400 so that I can run a Holley. I just have a bunch of Holley carbs, so I like running them. Is the Torker intake about the only square bore compatible intake for Holleys? Mine is a strictly street car and I wish there was a dual plane option, so until then I'll keep running the adapater plate. I'd be curious to see what others are doing when running Holleys.
