Default Kinsler EFI

Has anyone run the stack injectors? How is cruise and drivability with a healthy cam? I'm hearing mixed opinions.

They either sent it to me or it's on their website. Earl quoted me the whole system and I'm very interested but I'd like real world feedback before I lay out 10k and find out it is a bitch on cruise/mid range.

I have a dream to build a Pontiac powered winged sprint car for the street, and had though about an electronic conversion of a stack setup, but for 10 grand I guess I'll be looking at something else for an induction system.

Speedmaster has one for a BBC, that I thought might be adapted to a Pontiac head. I know that there have been BBC tunnel rams that were adapted to Pontiac heads, so it can't be too had for an 8 stack chevy to go on a Pontiac. The price right now looks to be $2450.

The Hilborn EFI BBC manifold is nice too but, like the Speedmaster, you still need injectors and all the electronics. It adds up real fast!

This is how they attempted to keep dirt out of early sprint cars, basically a screen with elastic to hold it on the stacks:

And here is a current air filter box on a current dirt track sprint car:

Well there was a question about air filters, but it seems to be deleted now?????

I'll need to review the quote again as there were options to add or delete, but its also complete with all the electronics. Still would need to convert the tank.

I may do research on another brand of engine to see if I can find more info. Must be someone with. SBC or BBC with feedback.
