Default 1974-78 Firebird Tailpanel - Weather Strip Channel?

Picked up an AMD tail panel for my 74 TA along with the inner tail panel and the LH and RH tail panel quarter filler panels.

The repop tail panel doesn't have the channel at the top for the trunk weatherstrip. Was that originally a separate peice that I will need to remove from my old tailpanel or is it just not included on the repop panels?

If it's a separate panel, does anyone repop it?

Was on the original sheet metal. AMD didn't make that metal. Odd though, its on the 73 piece, so I know they have made those bends before.

Thanks - I will have the body shop harvest that area from the original tail panel.
