65? - 68? P8? Rear Floor Wiring Covers
Have 3 of these and not really sure of the years or if they're fullsize, they are not "A" body. The metal cover for the front to rear wiring harness. Go behind the front seat, in front of the back seat. All 3 have been bead blasted and painted black or cast iron. $10.00 each plus shipping.
If I'm wrong on fitment or years, let me know. Thanks.

Hi Bob
I might be wrong but I’m fairly sure what you have there are the protective shields for a rear antenna cable. Pete Klabo fitted one of those into my ‘66 Grand Prix when I bought it off him. They go under the rear seat so the cable doesn’t get pinched when someone might be bouncing in the rear seat. Doing what does not matter Ian

More to the story
Yeah Bob.
To expand on my theory, about 30+ years ago I owned a 1965 Parisienne 4 door sedan. I bought via an ad in Hemmings, a NOS rear power antenna which consisted of everything, the antenna, the lead cable, the switch for the dash and so on. Back in those days, you didn't get any pictures in Hemmings, it was before the internet etc. So I recall PHONING the seller and agreed to the purchase price which if my very vague memory is correct, I think it cost me about US$60 plus air mail postage. For everything..... When the box arrived, that exact metal cover was in the box but I could not figure out what it was for or where it went so I assumed it was wrongly sent to me. Remember, a 1965 Pontiac Parisienne is built on a Chevrolet floor pan (and chassis), so I presume the floor might have had a different shape than an American floor. Anyway, I didn't know and never fitted it. I sold that car yonks ago but I never got rid of that metal bracket. When I bought my GP from Peter Klabo, he told me he would fit a power antenna in the rear and I later found that metal plate screwed under the seat. Which is how I recognised what you have there. Still got the original bracket/cover hanging on a hook in my shed. Ian
