Jay Leno goes INSIDE "Just dashes" etc
There is some "Jag" survivor and other car updates, but A good section of this has Jay "nearby" his shop looking at them step by step restore a '73 Trans Am dash @ Just Dashes.
OF NoTE: They 3D "Print" their own radio area repair pieces. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jb3BQhDFWOI

Thanks for posting.
Now it makes sense why they are so darn expensive. Didn't realize how labor intensive the work is. |

Can't imagine there is anyone else doing a more complete and correct process. They'll probably have plenty of business for the future.

I wonder how that compares in cost and quality to the new NPD dash? With the NPD dash you'd still have to paint it unless you have a black interior.

Does NOT exist, and would be an OER that classic industries doesn't have either.

Al Knoch quoted me $990 for my '74 T/A dash just yesterday and said 8 weeks turn time. I'm boxing it up to ship to them now. Not sure what Just Dashes quotes currently on Firebird dashes.

Just Dashs did my 71 Lemans dash - expensive but superb work and as noted above very labor intensive. I the video they said they had 17 Firebird dashes in line. I would be looking at building a mold with that much. Even a plaster mold would cut down the labor and potential for flaws immensely.
The OER piece I have - for the money it is good but has warped a bit in the New Mexico sun. |

I used Just Dashes and they are truly top notch. Amazing work. Seen other dash restorers but Just Dashes seems the best.

If any of you guys are on Facebook, Second Gen Graveyard is doing these restorations as well. Guys are giving them very good reviews. Lead time is long (15-18 weeks) but the price is right. ($800). Just another option if someone is looking.
