Default Formula Wheel Question

Forgive me is this has been covered. Can I run a formula wheel on a 77 non-tilt column without any issues? Of course, all the correct hub/horn items that are for the wheel. Will I have any space issues because of the non- tilt?

I would think it would work. I put a formula wheel on my 1986 Grand Prix, when I had it, and it looked factory. I see formula wheels on other Pontiacs all the time.

Also, my 1976 Plain Jane Firebird has a formula wheel that the previous owner installed. It looks like it came that way.

X10 it was just another wheel option, column doesn't affect it.

Whatever you decide, please think twice about using the repro Formula wheel commonly available. They bend if you look at them cross-eyed, and some have broken. The only aftermarket Formula style wheel that you should consider is the LeCarra. Caveat is that the rim is not molded like OE. It is stitched leather.

I second what CanAm said. The reproduction ones are junk.

Did you need a diagram showing the extra parts needed for wheel swap?
