Looks like the 64 Catalina/Ventura possibly sold for $7100.
Its really hard to say anymore about eBay auctions.
The top bidders activity in the bidding history looks a little iffy.

Not sure what you mean? The buyer has great feedback. If a scammer is going to sell a car and it sells, they have to pay eBay the commissions. A scammer would prolly stop the auction and claim the vehicle is no longer for sale, but this one sold. I think someone got a great deal.

72 455HO T/A in Washington with a NOM and buckets of rust for $5200 with a reserve. I wouldn't touch this car with a 10 foot pole. By the time you did all the work and found an original 455HO and had it rebuilt, it will still never be "numbers matching" or be anywhere near what you had into it. Numbers matching means far less to me than it does some people, but this car is a money pit from the word go IMO. If'n I really wanted a car like this, to start with an un-rusted 70-73 and make it look like this would be far cheaper. Let's face it... dinosaurs like me are dying off and these cars just aren't worth what they were 10 years ago.

I think I see what he means. Nothing glaring but they've only bid on two items in their entire history and both were towards items from the same seller. Makes it look as though someone...a friend?....may have bid it up but no one took the bait. If so, it may show up again.
$7100 is a real fair price for that car in my opinion though. Not a giveaway but really fair.

Actually, once you become a 'volume' vehicle seller, eBay only charges a $50 flat fee for each listing, whether it sells or not. No commission other than that.

Looks worth saving. Not a bad deal considering the included donor car.

Yes, green and teal were special order, but you could get them. SMS fabrics have the correct colors and texture. They were top colors 3 and 4, but I don't remember which was which any more.

That OEM single exhaust is so “patina”.
Outside that, overall is a neat little car.

What color is that car painted ? [68 350 Bird]
It looks like a pale pastel seafoam green'ish color in most pics,
or is that an illusion ?
In a few pics it looks maybe Mayfair Maze
He has it listed as Tan

The trim tag is "T" Primavera Beige [ultra ultra rare - for a reason of course]
Ivy Gold interior
Green Vinyl Top (8)

Very Wild Combo

Here's an original paint 68 in Primavera Beige. Looks the same and even appears to have the same green vinyl top.

There is something oddly appealing about that car. The color combo reminds me a '60's household appliance like a washer, dryer or fridge.

Wow
identical color combo's
Only the Aussie 400 car has deluxe interior vs. standard on the 350 car

Top Color #8 was called Gold by PMD
Apparently similar to the green-ish gold interior color Ivy Gold
The top on the 350 car might be a little off, or the color balance on his camera.

The old paint chart i have for 68 makes Primavera look more brown/grey toned.
The color chart on FGF site looks more like these cars do.

The Aussie 400 car is pretty spectacular ... beyond the color combo
