Default First gen alternator move

I have been frustrated over the years with everything stacked up over the fuel pump on the drivers side.I know engineers do thing for a reason but this time I did not agree.I finally moved the alternator to the passenger side and it allowed me to mount a fuel filter where I wanted.IF anyone is interested PM me and will help out.Tom

I now have CVF brackets, but I would also like to know how you did that exactly.

This would be useful for people who want to run a Type II Power Steering pump as there is very little room for adjustment with a Type II pump on the stock First gen Brackets. I also have long absolutely loathed the factory late 60s double strap alternator setup, so this looks like an improvement all the way around to me as long as you dont plan on AC.

As said there is a alt/AC bracket made for the pass side in 63,some one that needs AC can try that out.Tood Zimmerman might be a source for it.Tom
