Yellow was used to ship a NOS full 1/4 panel still in the box to my house and they they crushed it with about a ton of plow parts falling on it in the truck. Then I had to fight to get my money for it.

Suspect a full face 68-72 Quarter Panel is a bit too big for the Bus. They (greyhound) have dimensional limits. I have shipped with Greyhound for twenty years plus and they have never lost an item, did have a scare once with the Memphis Bus Station, a pair of doors got stuck there, and had to call customer service repeatedly to get them moving again. Memphis is a choke point, as a lot of routes go through there, and there is heavy traffic and lousy roads.
I would look at Uship dot com, getloaded dot com, and some of the other bid type load sites. There are a lot of retired type guys also, moving cars, and they often have room for parts. They would treat parts (one would think?!?) better than a common carrier.

I never would have thought about Greyhound...good to know for the future. I tried to order a quarter three times from Ames last year, and got held up with freight two of those times. It was a complete PITA.

Cost me $75 to ship a 63 Catalina fender from San Diego to Central MN. That was awhile ago tho so price is probably higher now.
