Probably been mentioned 1000x but in case, During my restomod,put in brand new Holley pump. Ran some quick pressure/leak tests on the unfinished chassis. Fast forward 1 season where I installed the engine and tried once again to test for pressure/leaks. Nothing!
Autopsy of pump showed impeller completed rusted solid. Take away? Don’t put anything not alcohol compatible on a vehicle unless your running rec gas 100% of the time. How hard could it be for them to just harden the impeller??? Cheap ass crap vs ethanol….. My story, your mileage may vary
