My alternator
Well after a year of hunting I finally gave up on the stupid 904 alternator. I.fpu.d a nice rebuilt original case blank or a wiped one. It has the raised logo on front so I'm happy with it. It's 65 amp not sure if pulley is correct thou since it's for a 70 vette. Anyone know? It's a 65 amp alternator no date no part number. I'll probably leave alone unless someone has the correct style stamping dies and skill set to do it. I was told blanks were used on marine applications back then. Not sure but this will look sweet.

looks fine, I have that same alternator on my 1970 400. The pulley is correct, but not gold. Ames sells a gold one for 30 bucks that looks really, really close to originals.
I can plate yours, but I need to do like 10 to get the cost down to 30.

Thank you formula Bruce. Please email me contact info. I need a color steering hub restored and ram air hood bracket and screen boots too. I have never seen or remember seeing a 904 alternator. I'm wondering if it only existed on paper

I need a pulley plated as well. No rush, but add me to the list to get to 10 orders. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
