Great pics, very inspiring!

One question: do GP vent windows interchange with Cat/Bonne?

You're in luck for a lot of this because many 'hidden' bits from Fisher are made for the '64 Impala, which is the "it" car of the universe for lowrider guys.

I am not sure if they do or not. The windshield is equal to the 4 doors but not the 2 doors. Does that mean the rake is different and therefore the vent windows would be different? perhaps. Next is seam sealer for the firewall and evaporator area as well as the drip rails. Next couple of weeks are prepping the openings for paint so i can start putting it back together. I will be driving it in the spring! 1 year without driving is enough!

Vent windows are different. I have a 64 cat convertible and had a coupe for parts. I picked up a set of GP vent widows years ago thinking they would be good for the convertible but found out they are not. Convertible is convertible only, coupe is coupe only and GP is GP only (unless you can find a 4 door hardtop, they might be the same). No I do not still have them, sorry, traded for other parts I needed

Had previously made the following post in reference to 64 windshields. Shows where the matched may be in the vent windows also.

Quote:
Parts book 10.027
63-64 2311-35-45-69,2669,2835 4897110 clr 4897111 tnt
63-64 2339,2639,2839,2957 4870527 clr 4870528 tnt
63-64 2347-67,2847-67 4870523 clr 4870524 tnt

So apparently the GP and the 4dr htp got the same glass. And the 2dr htp and conv got a different glass. Sedans and wagons still another glass.
Go figure.

Going to paint the roof final color prior to interior install. Most of the chrome pieces are around the windows so I will get that out of the way.
Gonna drop some paint on the interior and then should be all set to start installing the interior

Paint and clear come out real nice for my first time. I will get some better pics. That Axalta LE8700S clear is awesome! roof will need a wet sand and buff to make top notch. Overall, very happy.

Thanks Gary. I had to paint the roof and openings first so i could install the interior, glass, dash etc. The lower part of the car will also be black but i just don't have the time to invest in the bodywork in the lower half. I will scuff and prime the lower half for now and do full bodywork on the lower half next year

Getting some things done now. Was working on the front seat but the material was different than the original and would not fit on the seat properly. Got the headliner in so i could get the new windshield back in and this dash and tack combo i bought looks amazing! next to zero pits in a 52 year old dash! awesome

Thanks Matt.

Still waiting on PUI to send new bucket seat covers. The material at the back of the seat bottom wasn't enough to wrap the bottom of the seat at the seat back pivots. Original seats had 4-5" of material PUI had 2-3"
