Default OHC Sprint 4-door

I know 1967 was a funny year. Any way to know whether this is a 4bbl. OHC car or one with the Sprint package? Not sure if the badging means anything in this case.

Thumbs up

Is that a current pic? I've had that car on file for years.
It is legit there were just under 500 Sprint Tempest, Tempest Custom, and Lemans Sedans produced in '67.

The Blue '67 belongs to Fred Simmons he has all these production figures from PMD on file.

It’s a current pic, but still I don’t know if this is a Sprint or a Tempest with the Sprint engine. The chart shows both.

Anyway, my friend is Not going to buy it.

Yea that would be a PHS deal.
Do you know what they want for it?

Jeff, Fred’s car is not a Sprint optioned car. His has the factory 4bbl engine as you know, but added the Sprint badging during restoration. One could get the Sprint package on all Tempest/Lemans trims except the wagons. The two doors were the only ones that got stripes. Firebirds got the Sprint package on both hardtop and convertible, but no stripes.

Yes, I knew it was something like that with Freds '67.
I would still be inclined to run PHS on the car in question if It was near me.

got some catching up to do

I bought a 67 4 dr with OHC-6 4bbl auto trans and factory AC
was a mate to Freds so to say.
I was deeply disappointed when it arrived via transport at the amount of rust it had.
Guy kept saying 80K and a Texas rust free body. WRONG!
So I parked it out back and when storm of century hit us,it took a very large pine tree out
and placed it across the trunk making the back end 1 ft high.
Before the tree incident it looked very similar to this car,Same color, almost same patina.
