HEI wiring
I am converting from Points to an HEI, while running my 12v wire to the fuse box I found a connector plugged into the ignition plug on the box. It is 2 wires molded into 1 connector. Any idea where this goes or what it’s for?

Looks like someone wanted power for two sources. Radio, etc.? If you were to unplug it and see what didn't work, you could figure from there.

After some research it looks like it could be the wiring harness for the tach. I wasn’t aware the tach needed to be powered via the fuse box.
