I just had them rebuild my 8082 dominator for my Trans Am back in November and it was about $550. But keep in mind I had them add all the bells and whistles like venom billet metering blocks and their boosters. I’m having some kind of fast idle type issue with the newest carburetor. Like if I get on the throttle hard it doesn’t come back down to idle after I lift. It hangs at like 2000 rpm or so for up to a minute. The linkage doesn’t appear to be binding anywhere. I’m somewhat stumped to be honest. My best guess would be it’s an issue with the 4.5” power valve in the primaries but that’s just a guess.

I would turn the carb over and check the linkage between the Primary Blades and the secondary blades, hidden in the center base of the carb.
Also the blade alignment in the bores. The idle should never hang at 2000 for a minute (which is a lifetime) vs what should happen. Tom V.

Maybe I exaggerated about the minute but it’s definitely 20-30 seconds. Feels like an eternity
