VERY nice score. For $4600+T&T I'd be all over that one too...LOL Trumps my 71 Lemans Sport Convert in so many ways it pains me to work on mine. Very nice, and the build sheet... Is there anything missed?.Talk about the 'right' car with the 'right' equipment.....I'm green with Lucy envy...Plans?

Thanks guys - I've grinned so much thinking about this car my face hurt! Planning on fixing what needs to be fixed and driving the **** out of her. Needs some minor maintenance stuff, motor mounts and the dash. The 8 track needs to be serviced, A/C charged, and it could use a good cleaning. Will likely need paint from what I've been told, although I may leave it because I'm a sucker for that fresh from Grandpa's garage look. No rust ever, floors & trunk are perfect - but the decals have to go!

My son saw pictures for the first time last night - I think he finally "gets" it! He's going to need to spend some more time rowing the Formula before he gets to drive this one.

Nevermind, that car is a ringer (minus the 455HO and 4 speed) for a car a friend was interested in.

I'm planning on swapping out the custom cushion wheel for a Formula wheel I have & there will be a Y99 bar going on the back. The rear window motors are slow from what I'm told so those will likely get replaced and I think it needs springs. I have a perfect dash core I may send out to get done or will buy one if I can find one nice enough.

Does anybody have the breakdown on these? How many of the 26 were 4spds & how many were autos?

No power locks and the hood tach & wing were obviously added post production, but they are staying. The hood tach supposedly has a 5500 redline on it from what I've been told but RAM4KING hooked me up with an NOS late 70/71 tack with the vacuum fitting at Norwalk - now the discussion is should the tach have the A/C Delco face plate because it would have been an over the counter purchase or the Pontiac one on it?

There is supposed to be a pile of documentation coming with the car - hopefully I can dig up some prior owners (or somebody here may know them) and I can sort out when the tach & wing were added - a dealer receipt would be huge.

You and Jeff need to get pix together with those twins beauties!

There is also a loaded Lucy auto around here that could be related?

Allmycarsrjunk had an auto that now lives in Michigan - originally Forest Green but was discovered sporting a burgundy repaint. I'll bring mine to Norwalk next year if we can talk Uncle Jeff into bringing his.

I don't think this was a unknown car in the Pontiac community - I'm pretty sure others have known of it. If you have any history on the car please feel free to post it here or e-mail me @ thebosspontiac@hotmail.com Thanks.
