Yeah I could use his info I have one repro but would like another to see if it’s better . Ultimately a better reproduction is what I’d like or a NOS . Since it’s a IV car .and I didn’t see kustombird on eBay anymore

I also need a manual steering bracket assembly, Stephens made mine a Swiss cheese bracket.

Very difficult to find NOS ones that are in nice condition. Have had & seen them split as the metal insert reacts with the urethane over time.

I'd sign up for at least two if the project goes ahead.

Fella's, I have met with a few shops recently, scanning, measuring bumpers, comparing, etc. Rob has offered up his damaged original so that will help answer some dimension questions. Hopefully I can make this happen at a reasonable cost for everyone interested.. Stay tuned.

Sounds great! Thanks for taking it on.

And a special thanks to rob for offering up his original without that there’d be no project.

I’m likely in for 2x myself

Packaged arrived in yesterdays mail delivery Rob, have not opened it yet, will do so this evening. Thank You very much. This will be an important piece of the puzzle to get this right. Hopefully it is within reach financially to accomplish.

If done well / accurately I would think what people will be willing to pay would easily cover development / manufacturing costs. Of course, in a covid economy, it may be the wrong time to obtain a reasonable quote.

Hi guys, multiple feelers are out. Some places show interest then completely drop the ball. I am more focused on hunting and trapping right now but I absolutely have not given up. As things unfold in a positive way I will share the news

Emails are out asking potential vendors for an update. Weather is turning towards spring and this is on my mind more frequently so time to nudge them along. I will share their response (s) as received.

When a decent replacement 400 nose emblem is found, please let me know. My Bird is in for paint, and I've had to superglue the original in two places in the last 7 years since I got it. Time for a new one.

I'm in Prescott, AZ 86301 zip code for shipping info.

I could use one too if anyone finds one that fits like OEM. Thanks.
