Default Need recommendation for shops in Michigan

This post is on behalf of my brother, who owns a '74 GTO and is looking for a shop to tackle overhauling the entire suspension and steering. He lives in the greater Lansing area, but has a truck & trailer and is willing to tow an hour hour or two if needed. He has been having a difficult time even finding a shop to do an alignment on an old car that uses shims, so I told him I'd put my feelers out for recommendations.

Anyone have names for shops in Michigan that do good work on old cars and are trustworthy? There has got to be a few good places in and around Detroit, or SW Michigan in general.
