Default Engine mount brackets

Hi All,

Engine is out and I am looking at the brackets. They do not seem to line up with each other, Rt side is flat and the Left is canted back which it should be to angle the drivetrain at 2 degrees or so. I see no evidence of anything being bent. Maybe this is normal?

Thanks,
Rick

I just put some in the bare chassis of my '68 Bird. Car came with them and another '68 parts car has the same configuration.

Also noticed that they are asymmetrical. My guess is that they lifted the left to give a little more room for steering box, starter and wires.
