Default 70 gto throttle , coil bracket

Does. Bracket get painted or not? If so what color I believe 68/69 were blue

I have seen mostly painted throttle brackets
but
I have a few that are cad plated originals also
no paint on coil bracket

Tks , mine was pure rust (surface) cleaned up nice . No signs paint. Kind or looked like real thick galvanizing. Tks again
