Default Windshield washer harness/plug

So I replaced my windshield washer motor and pump. The washer motor has the correct plug. The wiper motor on the other hand doesn't connect. I can't remember or find where I purchased the motor from. It should be plug and play but the connection is different. The replacement went into my 1981 Firebird Formula. it was suggested that perhaps I may have bought a universal motor even though it was listed for 1971-1981 or it might be for an earlier year. Has anyone else come across this and is there a quick fix like an adapting plug? TIA
Jeff

That 81 turbo car probably came with delay/pulse wipers that older models didn't have. They used a circuit board for delay/pulse instead of being hard wired for off/low/high.

Don't know if this can be wired around or not. I'd look into getting the correct wiper motor for the 81.

This car actually doesn't have delayed wipers. Every option but that one. Not looking forward to buying a new motor and changing it. Looking for a way around that
