Default Uniroyal Steel Belted Radials with 0 miles.

These tires were mounted on a '79 Trans Am that I picked up last week. Not 100% sure what the deal is with them. The car came with the same tires when new, but mounted on Rally II. The 8" Snowflakes were added to the car at some point. The tires that were on the front show 0 miles on them- they still have the molding flash in the middle of the tread and all of the nubs. The backs have the nubs worn, but full depth tread. Date code on all 4 tires are DH099. Are they '79? '89? I can't imagine they were still making these in '99.
Now here's the down side- they were on a car that's been sitting outside for at least 15 years, so there is some cracking and weathering on the letters.
Are these worth saving? Anyone have a use for these as display pieces- obviously they shouldn't be driven on.

Old Polaroid is the car when new.

Only good for keeping rims off the ground.

Nah. If you never plan on driving the car, sure, they'd be good for the originality. But they're certainly not safe to drive, and there's really no way you can restore them to look like new again. On the bright side, they do repro the tires that came on '79's originally with modern tech. For instance, here's a Goodyear Polysteel Radial, which is another kind of tire that came on '79's: https://www.jegs.com/i/Kelsey+Tire/6...xoCky0QAvD_BwE
