Default Fuel pump

I managed to get a core 40838 for my car and was looking at it. It has a cj40838 stamped on housing one one side nothing on other and in middle has a diamond stamp and a heart. What does that mean? I'm sending to Fred and will patiently wait for it to be restored. I noticed the stamps must be by hand because not straight line and font is same as my 86 service replacement just wondering about symbols. Im.hoping someone can teach us about these symbols. I also discovered they stopped reproducing tall can pumps!
