Default ISO Good Painter

Might be the wrong place to post this and if so admin please move.
I have a 67 convertible that I want to have a very good repaint. It was repainted 22 years ago but it was poorly done. What should I expect to pay for a good paint job? The best guy here starts at 40K and I was budgeting a lot less. What do you think it should run and do you know of any in the Tn, Ar, Ms area?

That's sounds a bit spendy to me. If you said $20 grand, I wouldn't be so shocked. Check around.

Where are you located? Have some great painters that are fairly reasonable I could recommend after a bunch of research but they’d be in the north east. Big difference between a great painter and a restoration.shop too. True Restoration
Shops are mostly charging for their knowledge of how a particular type car was built and making all its parts that way. Where a painter is. Just supplying body’s and paint work .

For a good job, you are paying for hand block sanding.
Painting is the easier, and faster part of the whole job.
Its Never a " respray " , ... its a lot of work..
