Apparently that trans am is a Ram air VI really these auction houses can’t even get the damn Roman numerals right. (Such respect for these cars )that would annoy the hell out of me if it was my car going to auction don’t these people proof read these ads .

Correct just annoys me see it as bad business policy when your selling someone’s car for them. You think they could get the info right on the car. Because RAVI does have a meaning too.

There was a 69 RAIII TA at Mecum in Dallas LOT S48 HOUSTON 2022 MAR 31-APR 2) (which was heavily advertised but it went for only 99K and such a beautiful car. It rolled off the block, in typical Mecum dissed fashion, during the commercial break and they only showed tail end going out the door. Not sure why low sale but maybe not NOM engine. Who would know!

Yesterday, their latest trophy girl covering the event pointed out that a ‘62 Bonneville or Catalina (IIRC) had a “398” engine. Not as rare as the R/A VI but pretty rare. SMH…

Yeah they treat us Pontiac guys like Sh:t at those auctions. It’s not like it’s a Chevy or a ford. . That is why I don’t even watch them I’ve rarely read a write up about a RAIV car on there without typos all over the place. Or just a pathetic write up. It’s like they take it in as filler. I’d rather buy direct from the source for a Pontiac if I was gonna buy a high dollar car
But honestly if I didn’t already own a rare Pontiac I’d never buy one . Probably wouldn’t buy a rare old anything. Idk if having a rare old car is a blessing or a curse. 😂 Think this explains the RAVI I was referring to.
