I have them on the back of my 73. That said, I wish I would have gone 255/50/17 front and 275/50/ 17 rear. I find the 255/45/17 front and 285/40/17 rear combo is too short and requires too much of a suspension drop to get the tires to fill the wheel wells.

Can you post a picture please. I'm running about 1 1/2" drop.

I have them on Snowflakes. No dramas and nothing modified to make fit.

Default Continental Extreme Contact Sport

For the $100 I paid for them I'll take them for a test ride and see if I like them.

They are a little short for my liking but at the time the range was rather limited when I got them shipped over. If I was to do it again I'd try similar but perhaps 45/50 ratios, just a tad more sidewall meat and diameter. It starts getting into truck tyre territory.

What brand are those tyres?

There are but I am not at that stage for the tires and wheels yet. I come on everyday and look for more information. I like what you guys are doing. I am leaning to the 17" wheels also.

To be fair, there's only 10 members on this forum.
