Default 1971 GTO Judge orbit orange?

Does anyone know how many 1971 GTO Judges came from the factory in Orbit Orange? I remember seeing the one on this site a while back. The reason being is a guy told me today at a car show that his brother died recently and he has a real 71 Judge that has not been on the road since the 80's. He said it is orange. I asked him if it had the original paint and he is not sure...the car is buried in a mass hoard tin building. We are going to go look at it in the next couple weeks. Another cool, car is a 55 Chevy 210 2 door post...very solid...I actually looked at that one.

It sounds like almost the same back-story as the one that is known.

One 71 Judge known
One 71 GTO known

total actual production = unknown

Keep us posted once you have had a look.

Nothing close to Orange in 71 unless paint special ordered. Could also be a 70 and not 71?

Always great to see the Pontiacs surface with the possibility of getting back on the road.

What about Canyon Copper? Many would consider that to be orangy.

To me CC is a bronze, but with men having a decent propensity of color blindness, I wouldn't be surprised if he (or I) could perceive things differently.

I tend to think Castilian Bronze (CB) looks more bronze than CC...but thats just me.

Turns out it was a 1972 GTO, Sundance Orange, 455 HO 4 speed, PS, PDB, Formula wheel, posi...and my boss won it at the auction....original engine long gone...its a big project, but he got it for pretty cheap.
