Gold hue
I know this is a 71 but isn't this color 1970 Coronado Gold but a different name was used in 71? Picture is a random picture I found on the internet.

So is it safe to say that Coronado Gold and Quezal Gold are the same color but were named differently depending on if it was 1970 or 1971?

They are a different colour, different paint mix, formulas, etc. They just both use the GM code 53 for their own years, being a Gold. Different photos in different lighting may make some pics hard to compare but Quezal is more more yellow, Coronado is a beige gold. I'm not sure when they change happened exactly, it may have been mid-production and one replaced the other as used same code.
