66Sprint6 - yes you would have to change the door panels, imagine you would have to change the window mechanism as well.
For the first type of change I listed: yes.

For the second type: no.

They would have to do a manual adjustment in pricing at the dealership.

To add to the discussion my 68 Lemans convertible does not has a/c listed on build sheet but has the a/c suitcase, proper a/c firewall, all under hood components, under dash plenum, a/c controls, metal “a/c” dashboard and a/c dash pad. It’s a low mileage car with original drivetrain (but 3 speed swapped out for a Muncie m20).
Probably converted at some time I suppose but seems like an awful lot of work to do this right. One other thing that makes me think it might be a conversion is only windshield is tinted (I believe a/c got tinted indows all around.

Your car has been through some changes. Not uncommon at all.
When Pwr Windows or Pwr Seat conks out - its really bad news
Parts are scarce and expensive on those replacements too, have been for decades.
Or someone may have used them from that car for their "better" car they were building.

The 223 - P on your trim tag
P = power seat
R = recliner passenger seat with headrests
S = headrests

Agree, appreciate the info, always fun when dealing with cars that are over 50 yrs old. It is in good shape and a blast to drive, wouldn’t trade it for the world!

We have actually documented a few Factory AC cars with clear glass all around.
And numerous with just SoftRay Windshield.
SoftRay ALL was a suggested option to compliment AC
Most all dealer order AC cars did get SoftRay ALL

Most option billing conflicts get caught , but we have seen a couple or few rare cases where they slipped by somehow.
One example was a 72 455 HO car that did not get billed for that engine option.
Matching numbers car with X engine designator in the VIN

Holy Sh!t that is the most highly optioned Post Body GTO I have ever seen .
All I looked at before was your trim tag
Just clicked on your order sheet and saw all the red highlights everywhere.

I had posed the question not long ago about possible combo codes for P , R , S on interior code
To say if a car had PwrSeat and Headrests ,,, or PwrSeat - Recliner/Headrests
And yours has all the goodies in that respect (Pwr Seat - Recliner/Headrests)
Is it 223-P ... or 223-R ?
Either way yours will tell us something in that respect.

Cruise is extremely rare on a 67 GTO
even on any GTO, but particularly a 67 when it first became available.

Think I would try to recapture the Pwr Seat and Windows on that showboat.
Congrats

Check the vin on the rear of the frame to see if it matches.
