Good choice, George. You need both port and hat injectors for tuning and the Ron's systems are made here in Tucson.

I ran a Ron's system when I was running NA and was very happy with it (still have it in storage). I only went with the Birdcatcher for a more traditional look when I added the blower.

IMO, a mechanical injection system is WAY better for a Roots-blown engine than any other option. It's simple, easy to tune and not too expensive.

I hope so, I have a few things to figure out before I pull the trigger on the system. My car just wasn’t built to do what I’ve been trying or have been doing!

Like i said in the above post that i have to figure out a couple things..........no.1 is where to mount the fuel pump........no.2 i need to make room for the fuel pump mandrel drive.
My car was built for a BBC engine with the fuel cell in back not a Pontiac engine with a blower and the fuel cell in front, Im working on it....LOL!

The bolt goes through the flywheel and screw into the convertor......no nut, but i do have to shave off some on the head of the bolt some to help with the clearance. Thats why I'm thinking of going to a belly pan set up instead of the engine diaper.

I guess you have too try and get them angled a bit as you're installing them . Tough one ..

Installing the converter bolts is easy I rotate the flywheel so the holes line up in the area of where the starter is…. Lots of room. I shave the bolts heads down so they don’t interfere with the engine diaper.

I went a 5.33 with a nitrous converter and gear...Are you smart enough to know what that means??? I can put an N/A converter and gear in it and we'll see if you can outrun it...You interested?

Edit: it has a nitrous cam too, but i'll leave that in there for you.

So next week I’m going to drop my block off to take some material of the decks on my block, that’s where I was having some problems. I also need to replace no.5 rod bearing it got some junk in there and grooved it pretty good, all the rest of the bearings are going back in. Kauffman has been doing a great job for the Pontiac community! Blocks, heads, intakes along with setting ET and MPH records with their race cars! They engines have made the most HP of any Pontiacs out there! KRETTF!

Question.
Is George suspended for good? He alluded to that earlier.
It would be a shame. As much as I don’t understand him sometimes, he is after all a dedicated Pontiac racer with a lot of enthusiasm.
The forums are changing.

You figure it out . . . . . .

GTO George
Your constant battles with a certain member and muddying up nearly every thread you participate in is why you were suspended George.

Freedom of speech on Facebook?

You’re kidding right?

Just because we don’t allow you to do whatever you please here has nothing to do with freedom of speech or censorship.

It has everything to do with trying to keep the PY forums sane.

Please leave if you’re not happy here.

Crying about freedom of speech and this is America is laughable.
