Default Original 1969 #722 RAIV Heads Complete

For sale is this pair of 1969 #722 RAIV heads with rocker studs, guideplates and New Old Stock original valves. These heads are assembly line originals with the larger #722 I.D. number and no casting dates, not Service Replacement parts. They are totally unmodified, not even gasket port matched, original tight guides. The swirl-polished valves (#9794019 exhausts & #9794021 intakes) are still in perfect condition including the GM rust resisting papers. The rocker studs are big block Chevy 7/16” design and the guideplates are new Comp Cams #4851-8 for 5/16” pushrods. One chamber is a bit pitted, apparently had water sitting in it at some time before I purchased them. I’ve owned these heads for over 35 years, stored in my climate-controlled shop, waiting for one of those “one of these days” projects that isn’t going to happen. $5000.00 at 360-523-4030 PST. I have lots of pictures, what do you need to see?

As B.Blue noted, '69 production #722's didn't have a visible date code. If you look at my attached pic, this is where Pontiac placed the date codes. Right where the center head bolt hole was drilled and surfaced. If you look closely you can see the typical screw head markings just on each side of the machined area. So to be accurate, there were date codes on the original, unmachined head castings, but they got removed by the drilling/machining processes.
