Making steady progress and getting closer
Installed the front clip and nose, All mechanicals are complete
Just need glass installed, interior installed and some exterior trim

Using AC Delco shocks
Part # 88945173. Removed the modern day
Delco decal and put on Assm. Line decals
PA as the build sheet calls out

Yes. I had the car running months ago
Since it’s a 26k original mile car I just removed the engine and wire brushed it and painted it
Never took anything apart.
I have a video but can’t seem to download it on here

I assume Norwood since the car was sold at a dealer in Easton PA
I can look at the build sheet or trim tag to confirm
Any reason why you ask?

How did you clean/de-rust your original exhaust system like that?

I am restoring my Y88 which is a Van Nuys car. I am looking at your pics for details on finishes, especially the underbody. I know that the different plants sometimes did different things.

Wire wheel, long and tedious ordeal
Sprayed on Evapo Rust for a few days straight too

Still slow and steady progress. The car is almost finished. Just waiting on the Upholster shop to finish seats. He came to the shop and did the headliner last week.
Glass man came this week to install front windshield and back glass.
New B.F. tires mounted on snowflakes yesterday
