Timing Belt Continental 490H100
I noticed that RockAuto and now some Ebay sellers are listing the Continental 490H100 as a replacement timing belt for the OHC motors.
Specs seem to be basically the same as the old TB11. One of the ebay sellers mentions the belt is a tiny bit narrower in width, but a little thicker than others. Does anyone have any real world experience using one of these? This is a link to the specs. https://www.gprindustrial.com/en/5-p...6-490h100.html |

Can't speak on that belt, but the specs are good.
This belt I have and it is near perfect; https://www.ebay.com/itm/15350097834...MAAOSws7FcoXCh

Actually that was the ebay seller that made the comments on size being slightly off.
I guess there are a few sources now. That one has the Screaming Chicken emblem, so it must be good! |

Have one on the way.
Curious to see how it looks next to OEM. |

I received 2 and they look pretty much identical to the OEM belt.

If they're constructed anything like the OE Uniroyal belt it will outlast the engine.

Just an FYI: I sell the Continental belt with 98 cogs (same as OEM) vs the others 100 cogs. Not sure if the extra length makes a difference or not.
