Default Gauge cluster circuit board

I've got my new circuit "board" for the gauge cluster in my 68 GTO. Any feedback on the quality? Seems like a decent part .... but perhaps a bit thinner than the originals. Any complaints, problems?

I'm going to be bead blasting the exterior of the metal enclosure, inside is still in real nice shape. I'd like to clear it to simulate the bare metal .. but, obviously grounding is extremely important, and probably why the factory left the back side bare metal. How did you guys solve this? Little dots of tape on the grounding points? Leave it bare metal since it lasted 50 years the way it was?

Thanks

Dielectric grease on the grounding points.
