Looks like it could be green cloth interior. 96 code on order sheet for tempest.

Two tone paint looks like 50 sierra yellow, 47 verdoro green.

Wow, that's a crazy color combo. Sierra Yellow and Verdoro Green. Guy must have been a Green Bay Packers fan!

I would have loved to see that car new.

I'm not familiar with the Z296 interior code.

x100 !
Would have been Sierra Body / VooDoo Roof
and they even paid Extra to get it that way (2-tone charge)
yikes

The green cloth was of course a bench seat.

Congrats on the save, it looks like a decent body in the picture too.

Interior code is 296, not sure what the Z stands for . Maybe a interior paint or something to do with trim option.

Screw off time at lunch, LOL

I took my old 70 LeMans and added a Verdoro green top.

well thats an odd color combo. but I like it. gotta go back that way.

the z has been a debate for a very long time, yet no one knows what it means. one prevailing theory is a special combination that wasn't the norm or recommended. a buddy's 70 442 convertible, built on first day of Lansing production, has a z in front of the trim code.

Z is for override, meaning interior not recommended with exterior color but they built it anyway.
Cool color combination, hope you keep it that way.

Not for Olds, as my car had a Z and was white with blue interior.
