Default Headers for 55 Poncho wagon SBC

Hi I’m getting close to wanting to purchase new/used headers for my 55 Chieftain 4dr wagon. It currently has a 350sbc under the hood with stock exhaust manifolds. Anyone have a similar setup? Looking for headers that I can hopefully buy and have bolt rite up. Also thought about fender well headers.
Here’s a listing I was thinking could be a good deal. Any suggestions? Thank you! 🍻

This should be posted in the "Non Pontiac Motors in Pontiacs" section. Or better yet in the "Garage Sale" section which is for non-Pontiac items wanted or for-sale.

Nevertheless: I believe that vintage Hedman headers would work for you. I've had two cars that were the opposite of your swap- Pontiac engines in '57 Chevies! This was back in the sixties and I used Hedmans, with a small dent to clear the steering box.

agreed, should be posted elsewhere or even on another site. Dump that lowrider engine and get a real Pontiac V8 in that car. No Pontiac man would run a low rider/chev engine in their Pontiac

Yea I’m new here so still figuring the site out. As far as the 350 goes it’s what I could make work and afford.
So eat a dick Steve.

In my opinion I think fenderwell headers would be easiest.

The Steering box is really in the way to the point the factory Pontiac manifolds dumped down on the front side of the engine on the drivers side

You might try a set of early nova headers and move the engine over an inch or so, but that steering box is right in the way

Good Luck

Speedway motors sells a fat fenderwell headers that might work, you may have to cut and change some things around on
