Default Question on special-order green RAII car at MCACN

Was it Chevy Rallye Green? Or simply looks like it and is a similar color?

Thank you!

Hey, how are ya?

It looked like it had a little pearl in it? Regardless, I didn’t know if it looked like it or it WAS it.

Deigo, Gary Riley said it was special order Rallye Green. Hope all is well with you, the Mrs. and Dante.

this was my car for 20 something years. i bought it from the original owner.
it was chevy rallye green special order paint. -- on the cowl tag.
sold new in california and stayed there until i bought it. totally absolutely rust free car not even any surface rust under it anywhere. totally all numbers matching. it is the best ra2 car ever made in my opinion.

May be hard to disagree.

It did have some gold pearl in it. Obviously a modern spin on an old color. Very nice though!!

I saw it at the show... but didn't take any pictures myself, either. It looked like a beautifully restored car.
I did find some pics someone posted of it on Facebook - attached.

As much as I like Rally Green on first gen Camaros, though, to my eye it looked "out of place" on a Firebird. I guess I've just seen way too many '67/'68 cars in every other color BUT that!

Thanks for hooking us up with some pics Keith.

That style hubcap kicks every car in the wrong direction that I have ever seen them on.
But the BHC / PHS is the Bible on most restorations of the ultra rare.

Some RallyOnes would give it more of the camaro character to go with the color. maybe
Helluva Car
wish I had one !

Agree, only I'd put Rally 1's on it.

I think you're right... a set of Rally Ones would make a very big difference. The pic thews posted confirms it for me.

Yep - I get that on a car as rare and special as this one, it gets shown at MCACN "as built"!

A different wheel and tire package would of changed this dramatically. The more I sat and looked at it, the more I liked it!
