Default 1967 full size rear wheel well stainless moldings. question.

On 1967 full size cars, some I've seen have the rear wheel well stainless and some do not and, some also have fender skirts. Was there an option or a delete for the stainless and or skirts?

Is the rear wheel well stainless interchangeable between all of the full size cars? Catalina, Bonneville and Grand Prix?

Will the stainless fit/attach correctly to a car that had skirts?

I ask as I would like to get a pair of rear wheel well stainless for my 67 Bonneville and this car was fitted with skirts at one time.

I’m pretty they are all the same 67-68 full-size, 3 pieces per side. Take the skirts and the brackets off and drill the holes to screw on the trim= just did this to my 67 Bonnie

The stainless moldings were different on a car with fender skirts, see the picture below from the 1967 accessories catalog. http://oldcarbrochures.org/United%20...log/index.html

Thank you skipp65 and Stuart.

skipp65, can you post some photos of how your car looks with the molding?
