Default What manuals are you all using? I need a diagram

Just looking for what works well with our cars. Paperback or pdf. I am looking for a electrical diagram for the engine compartment of my 72. Some wires are missing ends, and i looking to clean it up and make sure everything is correct. Thanks

Factory service manual has the schematics. IIRC, the original 72 manuals have them in color.

They have their pros and cons. PDFs are searchable but the diagrams are a little tough to see and follow in my opinion though I use a PDF manual on my phone for my 77 T/A. It’s doable but paper would be better for diagrams

I bought one of these laminated ones from Ebay. The colour really helps as the 70 manual I have does not use colour and the schematics are hard to trace.

This one is for 72: https://www.ebay.com/itm/36260843650...MAAOSwNphWXarb

I should note that I did find one error on mine, one of the wire junctions was shown in a different spot compared to the factory manual, but electrically it made sense.

X2. Factory manual for 72 was the way to go for me and you can find them on eBay at a decent price. I used it for my car and I went over every single wire and converted from idiot lights to gauges with the help of this forum. There are also supplements for power windows and the like out there.
