I believe the valves were supplied by Kelsey-Hayes and did similar vehicles. I don't know that any were the same part or substitute, but may have found their way into a few non-popular models for collectors. Of course, using the same casting doesn't tell of any internal tweaks, but they'd need to identify the differences somehow. The threaded lines may not be the same either. It may be easier to reverse-engineer, find out which models use the same brass block offered now and if internals etc match.

Here is the current valve that was on the car.
Have that one rebuilt...

Sorry for hi-jacking thread but does anyone know if the Cadillac 4 wheel disc proportion valves are the same as the Pontiac 4 wheel disc valves? There is a guy who has one for sale from a 1980 Caddy and he says it is the same as the Pontiac proportioning valve. I actually looked at it but I do not see any part numbers on valve.

The Caddy Eldorado is a FWD car, different weight bias and characteristics.

Maybe if the reference being made to 1975-79 Sevilles, which was essentially a Nova in Cadillac trim.

Original 79-81 4 wheel disc Bird prop valves were cast iron. Over the years I've pulled & used the 4 wheel disc prop valves off quite a few '78-79 Sevilles. Also have pulled numerous nice used '79-81 T/A 4 wheel disc prop valves & even a few nice appearance original 4 wheel disc boosters. For my '79 w72, am reusing a very clean original 4 wheel disc booster i pulled 30 years ago off a '79 403 car.

marketed at least 20 years ago, the brass construction Delco Morraine 4 wheel disc prop valves were first used I believe in early 90's GM 4 wheel disc applications. Then the aftermarket got involved having their knockoff brass prop valves & boosters made for the bug smacker crowd.

Were the originals cast brass?
