Default OER vs The Parts Place T-Top Weatherstripping

Seems like there's a few manufacturers of T-top weatherstripping out there. The two prominent ones I've come across are OER and The Parts Place. I have a '77 Trans Am SE with the 1st-design Hurst hatches.

As far as customer service, I've had much better luck with The Parts Place than with OER/Classic Industries. I think the Classic Industries folks are mostly jerks, or at least that's all I've come across when dealing with them. But placing an order doesn't necessarily require me to deal with customer service, so...

Is there a preference regarding product quality? 99% of OER's stuff is made in China, whereas I think the seals from TPP are made in USA. Is there another manufacturer out there? Does anyone know which manufacturer's product Ames sells?

I used the Metro seals on my 1st design hatches. The fit was no more than just "okay", especially on the end towards the rear of the car. They were better than the 40 year old seals that I had.
