So, they will not fit on an A-body?

The first gen firebird is rear steer. The steering box is located closer to the firewall. The A-body being front steer has the box located more forward on the frame.
I would "think" this would create a situation where you could install these on an A-body without interfering with the steering gear, but that doesn't always mean that's the case.
