Default Exhaust testing

A little real world test results from the weekend.
Since I am in the long process of updating my race car
I am now racing my 69 Firebird streetcar.
We replaced the 30-year-old 2.25" exhaust with turbo mufflers and a H pipe
with 3" pipe, Magnaflow's and a X pipe.

Previous best with the car was 12:38 to 12:43 at 106/107 mph
With approximately the same conditions this last weekend the
car ran 12:00,12:02,12:05,12:08 at 108/111 mph.
The head wind at times was the reason for the car slowing down.

Old pipes and mufflers with rust scale on the inside eats into flow numbers by a surprising amount!

Yeah I made the last pass after the wind died down looking for a 11 second pass.
Ironically it was 12.000.

The convertor is a hand me down from another racer. Stalls about 3400 rpm
in this combo. This is a footbrake car launching at 2200 rpm and shifting
at 5800.
