Just wanted to give 2 thumbs up to Chicago Restorations!!! Real nice and friendly people. I have a problem with my current paint and body restoration and I had shops come out to look at my car. It's difficult finding a shop you can trust and I thought these guys were excellent. They spent a great deal of time with me for no charge. We went over all the issues and they had immediate solutions for me which was really impressive!!! Most have issues committing but these guys were Pro's. They seemed very knowledgable and wanted to find out what was going on with my car so they did a bunch of trials fittings and determined exactly what my issues are. Wow!!!

They do high end big buck Jaguar and Mercedes-Benz restorations and they do Nicholas Cage's restorations personally and they have one of his in the shop now that costs $750K, can
t wait to see it. I plan on visiting the shop this week to check it out and see their work in action. Highly recommend so far!!!!

Brad, did you get my EM? I don't know what your going to do about your other problem which is well documented, but you did mention legal proceedings against the other party.I don't know but if you are still going ahead with that aspect, does it make any sense to have another shop work on your car? Seems as soon as they do anything, and I mean anything to your car,it realy contaminates any evidence of shoddy work by BOS.Just a thought. bigpop

bigpop ,did you read my reply, brad is the one who went cheap on his car and now he is mad . he has NO legal proceedings he can start ,he signed a waiver of warranty. i covered my butt because of his cheapness. besides he states that other shop does BIG BUCK restos . well he should have opted to do it right the first time and spent the required $ to do it right. quit beating a dead horse.

Bibpop, yeah, got your E-mail, VERY interesting! But I just posted this to let folks in the area know that Chicago Restorations was awsome and I was really impressed. They took a look at all my issues and said no problem. The trial fitting really blew me away and the in-depth knowledge they seem to have took me by suprise. They knew GTO's realy well, as good as I do and I've been doing this for 7 years. They sure won't be cheap seeing as how they work on super high end cars but you get what you pay for and I want it to be the best possible. I can't wait to see a $750,000 car, what the heck is worth that????
